On Singing Onstage
For many years, Justin Blake has
taught a series of workshops to help singers and actors
prepare for auditions. The participants perform their
songs and are then critiqued by Justin and other class
members. I began playing for the workshops several years
ago and thoroughly enjoy the experience. In the process
I've learned a lot myself about how to be confident and
honest on stage. Following are three
performances from class meetings, including the
follow-up discussions evaluating each performance. |
